Welcome to Northeast Ohio Collie Rescue. Our mission is to protect, heal, and advocate for Collies in need. We provide vital medical care, rehabilitation, and safe placement into loving, permanent homes for dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or surrendered. We also work to keep Collies with the families who love them by offering guidance and support during challenging times. Through education and outreach, we help current and future owners understand the unique needs, abilities, and roles of Collies—whether as devoted companions, working partners, or trusted helpers in everyday life.

Beau’s Journey from Neglected to Nurtured!
Beau is one of our cherished Collies in Care, and his story is already a testament to what compassion can do.
When Beau arrived, he was malnourished, missing a lot of fur, and covered in fatty tumors. Thanks to a full veterinary evaluation, we’re relieved to share that none of his tumors are cancerous. With proper nutrition, medical care, and a soft, loving place to land, Beau is getting the chance he always deserved.
Today, he’s thriving in his foster home — playing with the resident dogs, making friends with ducks and turkeys, and learning how to be a dog. He’s even trying his best at frisbee, though he hasn’t quite figured it out... His joy is growing as quickly as his confidence!

My Happy Home! Callie
Callie has been with us just over 6 months and she is doing great! She has integrated herself into our routines so seamlessly that you would think she has always lived with us. She loves playing with our other dog and going on walks. She has made friends with some of the other dogs in the neighborhood and enjoys meeting new people and going to new places.
While she still doesn’t like cars, she has learned to tolerate them. She is my shadow along with our other dog on most days but also loves following Andy around as well. We are so glad to have Callie in our lives!
