Welcome to Northeast Ohio Collie Rescue. Our mission is to protect, heal, and advocate for Collies in need. We provide vital medical care, rehabilitation, and safe placement into loving, permanent homes for dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or surrendered. We also work to keep Collies with the families who love them by offering guidance and support during challenging times. Through education and outreach, we help current and future owners understand the unique needs, abilities, and roles of Collies—whether as devoted companions, working partners, or trusted helpers in everyday life.

We’re thrilled to share the happiest update — Cali has officially found her forever home.
After months of healing, surgeries, rehab, and learning how to be a carefree, toy‑loving Collie again, Cali’s journey has come full circle. She was adopted by the people who stood by her through every step of her recovery: her foster family. The home where she made her first best dog friend. The home where she learned she was safe. The home where she was already loved.
Cali didn’t just find a place to live — she found the family her heart had already chosen.
Thank you to everyone who followed her story, cheered her on, donated to her care, and believed in her bright future. Your support made this ending possible.
Here’s to Cali — to new beginnings, soft beds, full hearts, and a lifetime of love.
